COUGAR｜Conceptual Design - Creator Gaming Case
We designed a concept console specifically tailored for gamers and video creators, such as gaming streamers. One of the most distinctive features in terms of appearance is the design of the air intake, which embodies a visual imagery of high-performance cooling efficiency. This feature aims to provide users with the effective gaming and creative experience.
Challenging traditional CPU / GPU / PSU
Many issues with regular PC cases arise from thermal design, which can impact computer performance. To tackle this, we separate the different heat sources using insulated tunnels, so they won't interfere with each other. Due to the high usage of the GPU by both creators and gamers, this casing design allocates two fans to efficiently remove heat.
Unique Tunnels Design
When designing the PC shell, we studied Bernoulli's principle to come up with a fast cooling design. By reshaping the insulation tunnels such that it compresses the space around the heat source, the airflow's velocity increases when passing through. Thus effectively lowering the heat of the PC case.
HDD/SSD with Hot Swap
Another key feature is the unique hot-swappable hard drive's handle feature, which intuitively allow creators to quickly replace hard drives, without any disruption to their gaming session.
